Matt's Serenity Inc. was created by my family and I. I proposed the idea to my mom and two brothers and got right to work forming this organization. Everyone was on board when they heard about it. Those Pictures below are just a few of the best moments. But now it's time to find out why this came about.
So you see when growing up my mom found out that both my brothers you see pictured are considered disabled and impaired. My younger brother has Asperger's which is a form of Autism. My older brother has ADD/ADHD. When we were kids things were always difficult for them or took longer, but not with me. I watched as my mom would sit with them both to get the job done they needed to do.
Both my brothers are extremely talented men and have always been. Growing up I watched my brothers not getting fair chances at life. They didn't follow the status quo, but my mom on the other hand always fought for them. She always made sure that they got the equal chances and to do what all the other kids were doing. Part of my moms way of doing that was to get us into arts and crafts. She would help challenge their minds and mine by using Legos, play-doh or even simple "scratch" paper and pencils. She made sure no one ever treated us differently, she is the reason why we all love some form of art and craft. My brothers showed me you didn't have to be "normal" to be awesome at life. They showed me the world in ways most don't know exist. Matt's Serenity Inc was established because of them, two dudes who never let anyone stop them.
